Hi @Jasper & @Anne Buit, we recently added the xml formatting in our task to make multiselect work. Before, we made use of a table which we filled and emptied via the use of a process flow. This is not needed anymore thanks to your xml tip! However, we did have default & layout logic which were based on the above stated table. Since this table is not needed anymore, I wanted to base the logic on the xml field regarding defaults and layouts. You clearly stated the following:“The parameter is only filled when the task is executed. The XML is therefore not visible in the popup or available in the default and layout logic.”Is there anyway to work around this? How can we track the selected rows in the default/layout using this method?
Hi Anne,We thought of this exact solution as well. Unfortunately, the 2 tables this concerns are quite large. And that is why we are a bit afraid of performance issues. So we hoped there was a better solution to achieve this. If there is no other way, we will try your solution and monitor the performance. Thanks for your reply Anne!
We are trying to avoid using a detail tab, and would like to show this table as a floating document. Our users do not find the detail tabs intuitive. The lookup we made is almost exactly like how we want it. We only need a refresh to make it work perfectly. We will turn on edit in grid and remove the form behind Route to achieve having more space for the records. We do not want to have another detail tab, and reserve space for it. A floating document would be the perfect solution. Also our users do not understand they are adding costs to the selected route if they would click on the detail tab behind route. (users get a little lost if there are too many detail tabs under multiple tables within the same screen).
@Peter Verwijs We are trying to set this up in Universal GUI 1.1, but the UI does not respond to the second Breakpoint (or more) we defined on the Screen type. Is this a bug? I tried this in the Universal GUI against the SF in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
