Testrecorder and html controls

It looks like the (process) testrecorder records the html tags on a html control as if that was the actual input by the end user. Now when replaying such recorded tests result in rather strange input value because it suddenly has the html tags in its input value.

How do you cope with these things without editing the recorded input? Or would this be a bug? Maybe a fully intentional feature where I can’t fathom its subliminal complexity?

This is indeed an issue with the test recorder within the windows gui. There is however no further development scheduled for the windows gui test recorder. We will take this post in consideration for the development of testing within the universal gui.
