I've added a task (a tile) in the Universal gui menu, to do a simple insert (select category, upload file).
However, there is no popup - to enter the parameters.
It simplye directly states that the insert has failed due to mandatory fields.
I see some info on that Universal tasks is not fully developed yet.. soo.. is this my bad, or a gui problem?

Hi Alexander,
Tasks should be working in the Universal GUI, there are no known issues with starting from the menu currently. I assume you’ve created a normal task and you’ve added this to the tiles menu?

We use the Universal GUI on mobile devices and also have tasks there that are started via a tile.
Those tasks work normally.
An “open door”: is at least 1 input field mutable (the category), so that the user can make input before the task is executed?
Does the task work in the Windows GUI?
+13Yes, you are all correct. The var was not set in the Roles, and therefor nothing happened. My apologies for not being smart. It must have been the Christmas Drinks.…
All works fine after setting the Roles.
