Hi,

The button Resize columns on the toolbar does not reset a manual width - why is that?

Hi Ricky,

I think that is due to it being manually altered to your preferred width so it leaves it the same size. Is that undesired?

We’ve had a hard time explaining this to our users, since they are not aware that certain columns are manually set - for them they are just columns, and since the resize columns button states ‘The columns’ our users do not understand why a certain part of ‘The columns’ are out of scope of the function. The way they see it, the resize columns button ‘resets’ its sizes to the best way the application can provide for a user perspective (and that is where the designer made a choice to set it manually to offer the best size from that perspective)

If I read the Docs about it, it seems like it was intended to resize all columns; also the manually resized ones. So this would be a bug then, could you report it in TMS?
