Hi @avandervelden!

In the UI restyling blog, we commited to also change the Form Field styling to Outlined Form Fields.

In that redesign, we are also going to change the Radiobuttons and Checkboxes alignment. So this will be going to look kind of like this:

We aim to reduce the amount of space below those radiobutton groups, so be sure to keep an eye out for when we are going to change from Filled to Outlined Field styling!

If I may also add this example to this ticket

In Windows

In Universal

@Bart Metselaar Do you happen to have a radio button example where the elements also have icons applied? Just curious what this looks like as we are considering to use more radio buttons for certain screens and some could probably benefit from icon use.

I'm not Bart, but can give 2 examples how it looks now

@avandervelden Thanks for the example. I now remember trying this on the first tries with Universal and indeed the scaling was a cause to no longer look into this. Guess we’ll need to be patient for this.

@avandervelden to be clear here: are you referring to this example about the amount of options you are showing in a radiocontrol of about the label placement of that radiocontrol?

For “the scores”: about the number of options. Not the label

This is a bug, I will report this as a ticket in TCP.

In addition: it’s good to know that a single radiobutton does not take a entire form editor slot in height in Universal. So if you have 5 radiobuttons stacked on top of eachother, the “Field height in positions” might be set to 3 or 4 to reduce whitespace underneath the list of radiobuttons. So you can control this yourself currently.

It is indeed a known issue that you can only show max 2 radiobuttons side-by-side, even when there is enough space for more.
