Import - Detail reference column empty

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Recently we've upgraded from G9 to 2021.2, and we've noticed a difference when we want to import.

In the old situation, the field Project id was automatically filled because the ‘Hang & Sluitwerk'-table is a detail table from Projects. In the import file we don't provide the ‘Project’-field at this moment.

When you manually add a new row in the form the Project id field is also filled with the project, 404 in this case.

With 2021.2 and the newest GUI this is changed and the column is empty.

Did I miss a setting or is this something that has been changed over the last years?

Thnx.

This has changed a bit indeed. The import screen can import ‘random’ valid data into a table.

In the old situation, if you wanted to import hang&sluitwerk for three projects, you would have to make three separate imports, one for each project.

Now you can import all hang&sluitwerk-data for different projects while starting the import screen from one of those projects.

If you used ‘edit existing rows’ instead of ‘add new rows’ , the context will be fixed to the current project.

Thnx, nice to know that we can import multiple projects in one time.

We will add the ‘project id’ column to the import file, that is the best / most simple solution for now.
