We have a customer which does the maintainance of the reports (Crystal Reports). Since the reports are included in the database, he is not able to edit the reports and replace them in the file location.

Is there a way to upload one specific report in the IAM, or does it need a full deploy from our side?

Hi Peter,

There is a way to change it in IAM but it's less desireable and requires you to upload the Report into an Upload field and extract its varbinary string, and updating the Report varbinary string in IAM database for the correct application.

For now the recommended way is to upload the new version of the report into the Software Factory. It is possible to download the Report file from the Report screen in the Software Factory, by being in Navigation mode and selecting the File icon next to the File field:

About not being able to edit it, an idea has been posted for it:

So that does mean a full deploy is required which is also more safe. Reports should be tested before deployment. Skipping that step could possibly result in problems in your Production application.
