Dear all,

We have identified that the groupping of records for the scheduler can be configured only by 1 column and it is not possible to have more than 1 currently.

The idea is to be able to specify the groupping level and have a Treeview as first column of the defined groups in the scheduler.

Similar to what was in WEB GUI:

Hi @mperrott,

Just to be sure, you would like to be able to set up Grouping similar to how you would define a Treeview or set up Grid grouping?

Example:

  • Project
    • Subprojects
      • Activity

Although not directly directed to me, please go for similar grouping like grid..  where you can also change the grouping sequences…   the hierarchy is not always fixed…  for one of our apps we have events where events can be grouped per day, per theme and per location or a combination of those. In this case all events have a scheduled time.

This is planned to be resolved with the Roadmap 2025 H1 efforts.

We have started working on Hierarchy grouping; allowing a resource grouping column and a parent resource grouping column to be chosen. In addition, an option to allow the resource tree to be default expanded is added as well as a level setting.

This will enable you to show resource trees, for example showing organizational hierarchy of employees and their managers.
