A huge decrease of development time could be achieved by enabling 'Quick Model Editing', I believe. This will save a lot mouse clicks and search time in SF.
I was thinking of adding a tooltip with deep link to each label, that opens a task, something like this...

+21Yes, more or less. The new possibilities with deeplinks brought this idea and with all the functionality that is now available in the platform, this seems within reach. A complete change of the platform is not even necessary to make it happen.
