'Cannot open the database' message after login

As a user, I would like to receive a clear notification during login if the application's database is not accessible, so that I can immediately identify the issue.

Currently, when I launch an application while the database is unreachable, the GUI starts up normally, displaying the menu and giving the impression that everything is functioning fine. However, upon attempting to open a menu item, a continuous pop-up with an unknown error appears.

When I check the Indicium log do I find the message: 'Cannot open the database "DATABASE" requested by the login. The login failed.' If I receive this message as soon as I launch the GUI, it would reduce my search time significantly and allow me to pinpoint the problem immediately.
