At this moment the detail tiles open a new document. It shows the details of the parent from where the detail is clicked.
If you go back to your parent, you choose another record and you open up the detail tile again it will open up a new document again.,
So in this situation we have 3 open documents 1 parent and 2 detail documents, 1 for parent A and 1 for parent B.
This is very confusing for users and if you’re not quite beware on this behaviour the user will end up in 25 different detail documents.
I think it would be great if the detail can open up a tab as a regular tab. Not a new document. When selecting another parent and when clicking on the detail tile it just opens up the same tab in stead of opening a new document. The detail tabs are nice to use on mobile (small screen devices) because in the universal the tabs are running of the screen if you have more then 3 tabs. In fact the presentation of the tabs in the mobile GUI is in fact better. THen you can choose the tab from a list.
