Change sequence via control procedure

I do miss the context in which you would like to apply this idea, could you elaborate on that? With this use case we can understand the desired goal.

We still miss the Use case for this idea. What would it solve?

Maybe you could provide some screenshots of how this would look in your application. 

Changing the order of fields may lead to confusion for your users, hence we would like to see how this would work in your application. Maybe there's a viable alternative that we can give.

This would be more used for user preference in the UI rather than functional. 

In my case, I already have fields in a specific order but based on a selected value from one of the dropdown options I would like to change up the field orders for a better data entry user experience.

I.e.

In the image below is my standard order for the fields
 

But based on the selected “Service type” I would like to have “Start Date” & “End Date” at the end of the form.

Hopefully this clears everything up.
