While developing an app for the Thinkwise Mobile GUI, it would be nice to see the results in the viewer. I use the latest version of the viewer (2020.1.004), but I get the error message "There are no applications available”. Indicium is running and the URL (that ends with /api/sf) returns: SQLSERVER_SF: 2018.3 I assume that I need to do something in IAM. But what? I created a user “Uitvoerder” (for testing the app) and added this user in IAM (from the SF). I also linked the usergroup “sf_developers” to this user. The application pool user, used for Indicium, was also added to the usergroup “sf_developers” in IAM. But I keep on getting this error. Who can help me out here? What am I doing wrong?
In a main subject there are amounts for sales total and a purchase total (“Kale kostprijs”). The purchase amount is a total of a detail subject. When he result (sales total -/- purchase total) is positive (or zero), the result amount is shown in green, otherwise in red. After adding rows in the detail subject, the total of the details (purchase) is updated to 21.00, the result to -1.24 but the conditional layout for result is still showing green. Because it is a negative result, this should have been red. How can I update the color of the column result (conditional layout) at the same time as the “Kale kostprijs” and “Resultaat”? The extended property "RefreshOnTabSwitch” is already set to “Yes”.
A user of the web GUI wants to create a new password for his user account. The authentication methode is “IAM” and login verification is set to “Password” in IAM. Because we host the application on our IIS for multiple customers, we are the administrator of IAM for these customers. I know I can set a new password in IAM myself, but I do not want to know the users password. So I want to let him change the password himself. The settings “Allow change” in IAM is set to “True” and Expires is set to “Change after login”. The user is able to set a new password in the following form: After changing the password, the following message appears: So far so good. But when trying to login with the new password, I get an error: But the user can login with his original password, so the change/update did not work! Same problem when trying to reset the password via the option “Change password” in the blue tab. The Application Pool user has owner rights on the database, so that should not be the
A customer has migrated to Windows Server 2016 (64 bit) and now our reports (Crystal Reports) don't start anymore. The error message is: The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception The Thinkwise applicatie that the customer is working with has been developed with TSF 2017.1. The version Windows GUI is 2018.1.17. The SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for .NET framework (64 bit) is 13.0.13.1597. I have two questions: 1. What causes this error? 2. What determines which version of the SAP Crystal Reports runtime enige I should install? Could anyone help me out here?
Lately, we’ve received the question from several parties (app suppliers like WerkbonApp) whether it’s possible to realize a connection with them. Because of that, I’ve started some intensive testing with Indicium (2018.1 build 2). While doing this, I’ve encountered several problems and questions that I’d like to submit. 1. Is there another authentication way than Basic Auth.? If so, which one and how can I apply this? 2. Why is it possible to filter by $select, $filter and $orderby separate but not with a combination of these? 3. Why is the $top=10 parameter allowed on a table but not on a view? 4. How can I track down the cause of a problem when the system returns a particular HTTP error code (like the 500 internal server error)? I’m aware of the subfolder Logs from Indicium on the (web)server. Are there any other methods to tackle this problem? 5. Is it possible to request both master and detail records (like organisation and contact) in one response? 6. A few p
We have a separate icon for our standard software application ‘JP-Bouwmanagement’ that is linked to our Thinkwise application. In the G8 we were able to include this icon in a shortcut by adding a INI-parameter ‘ApplicationIcon’ to the shortcut with a link to the icon. It looks like this is not working in the Windows GUI 2018.1.17. A standard Thinkwise icon appears on the Windows taskbar, were the custom icon used to be, our users a not familiar with this icon. Is this a known problem and will this be resolved?
