Hi

I'm not sure how this is called but a multiple same table tile is adding whenever a related page is open, instead of referring to a single small tile only. How to prevent multiple tiles open.

Main Menu Tile screen

Also, where to find the upper small tiles?  under user interface → Menus, I can only see the main tiles

Please advice

Thank you

Hello @Jheng,

This feature helps the users to work with multiple sets of data simultaneously. In your example, the "Entity 1.1" tile is dynamically linked to the currently selected record in "Entity 1". When you select a different record in "Entity 1" and click "Entity 1.1" again it will have different values. At the moment, there is no way to prevent opening multiple detail tiles.

Regarding your font color issue, you can follow these steps in order to change it: Colors and Fonts used.

Thank you!

Hi @Jheng,

We don't fully understand what you're saying yet. Do you see a chance to clarify your question, possibly with an additional example or screenshot? A screenshot of what you see under User Interface > Menus would also help.

Hi @Jeroen van den Belt ,

Here's the screenshot under User Interface → Menus

Here's under the Design

In the Main page it shows like this

  • The main menu consist of:
    • Open document (if there is) - this are the entities that you open
    • Tile groups with different entities
  • from this page I have another question also, the font of this page is black color, I couldn't find where should I change the color, cannot see the text from the black background unless it's highlighted

From the Main Menu when you click Entity 1,  it will redirect to another page (below)

  • Same as clicking Entity 1.1 or Entity 1.2, it will redirect to another page

After clicking Entity 1 and click Entity 1.1, return to main menu by clicking the 9 dots on the top left corner.

  • you can see that those are the open documents.

  • Go back again to Entity 1, then click on Entity 1.1 then go back to main menu, the open document for Entity 1.1 opening multiple times (like below) , by right it should open 1 document only as it is referring to the same entity

Hope this is much clearer, let me know what else should I screenshot or check

Thank you in advance

Hi @Alexandra Egri ,

Sorry for late reply

I would like to comment on this

". When you select a different record in "Entity 1" and click "Entity 1.1" again it will have different values.” → the problem is I am choosing the same entity and same record and yet and still it will open another record. By right if the same record it should not open another tiles. I understand if open another record then it's correct. but if the same record then i find it wrong.

Thanks for the color link, but im using universal, it looks like there's not much option in universal GUI, or is there css to change color? and where to find it?

Thank you
