We currently use SF/IAM version 2020.2…

Due to a lack of time, there hasn't been time to upgrade to a more recent version. I've downloaded version 2020.2 to see if it somewhere tells me I can't skip a version (just for checking).

My question: is there a check in twdeployerGUI.exe on the version that is currently running and does twdeployerGUI.exe take care of what needs to be done to skip (in this case) one release?

I can of course do an upgrade and see if it fails, but I'd rather know that it is possible…..

Hi Henri,

Just tried it myself to make sure. You can upgrade from 2020.2 to 2021.3 for example. Skipping a release is supported. Do note, after upgrading to 2021.3, make sure Indicium is active as the Creation steps, like Generate definition, are now done by Indicium. More on that in the release notes and the dedicated blog.
