Optional parameter in stored procedures

Forum|alt.badge.img+13

As far as i can see, there is no option in the SF to define default values for subroutine parameters. When a default value could be defined they become an optional parameter in SQL server.

Could this be an idea to add to the SF? The advantage is that you don’t have to define all parameters when calling a subroutine.

Or what should be the reason that this option is not available?

Or did I miss something and can it be done?

Hello Edwin,

We do not yet provide this as a formal option in our suite, but in my opinion this would be a very good idea. Please feel free to submit the idea in our ideation section. I think this idea can get a lot of votes.
