Other than the web server’s firewall, antivirus software and other protective measures, there is none I believe. As far as I know the GUI does not check/scan the file. You could use the Allowed extension list to make sure users cannot upload .exe files for example: Project overview · Thinkwise Docs (thinkwisesoftware.com)

I stand corrected, you probably did not mean a scanning tool to scan a file on viruses, but scan like a scanner in/on a printer would do

We do have a barcode scanner but a file scanner or something similar we do not have currently. The idea is indeed still on New and I'll ask the representative from the Universal GUI to take a look at it.
