IAM Database performance

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

I’d like to increase the performance of my IAM database. I’ve already cleared unused applications and the session logs. Are there other types of logs that I could clear to increase the performance?

And any other suggestions to increase the performance would really help.

Hi Jaycee,

"Increasing performance" can only be achieved when the root problem is found. What performance you feel is degraded? Is the startup of a particular screen slow, or a task popup, or loading of IAM itself, or something else? You can view the Network timings of all requests the Universal GUI does in the Developer tools of your browser (F12)

You can also try to run TSF optimize (Optimize indexes) on/in IAM. That usually can improve the performance once it is degraded.

HI Mark,

“Increasing performance” was a poor choice of words. I’d like to know if there are unused records like logs or old applications that are being kept that could reduce the performance of my IAM Database for Maintenance purposes.
