This is the first time that we sync our model to IAM after upgrading our environment to version 2022.2

We are running into following error: “Connecting to sync target and checking IAM version”

What is the reason and how can it be solved?

It seems like TSF does not have (SQL) access to the IAM database, but there is no possibility to save or enter credentials.

After I talked with Service & Care it became clear to me that Synchronization can only work when the username en password of the TSF API (Indicium) is equal to the username and password of the target IAM database.

I think this is not an ideal situation and will add an Idea for this in the community.

Edit: Here is the idea:

Synchronize IAM with different DB Credentials | Thinkwise Community (thinkwisesoftware.com)
