+13I have a lookup field, with a Suggestion Contains. Say, I start type for PIET, it can be found. However, if I type PR and then click the magnifier, a popup will open, but that is already searching with the value 'PR’. So, this limits a free search for all account.
Is it possible to clear the field when clicking the magnifier?

This is the intended way. Users can fill in a value into the field, then open the look-up to get a filtered set of data to choose from.
