Hello everyone,

In this sprint, we have added the possibility to hide tabs from inactive applications, and we have changed the user agent for the HTTP request on the HTTP connector.

You can read more about the Windows and Web GUI's features, in the user interface manual

Breaking

Changed user agent for HTTP request on HTTP connector

Windows GUI

Previously, the user agent for the HTTP request on the HTTP connector was the application name. This has been changed to ThinkwiseWinGUI/{GUI version}.

New

Hide tabs from inactive applications

Windows GUI

You can now hide open documents when you switch to another application in IAM. When you return to your previous application, these open documents will be visible again.

This is useful if you have multiple models with the same name but for different customers or with different data. For example, if both applications have the document Orders open, it might be difficult to distinguish between them.

You can enable this feature by enabling the extended property HideDocumentsOfInactiveApplication in IAM (menu Settings > Global configuration > tab Extended properties). Set this property to 'Yes' or 'True' for on, and 'No' or 'False' for off.
