As explained in Adding extra files to Universal GUI container | Thinkwise Community, the current Universal GUI container doesn’t support adding custom html files (like Screen components | Thinkwise Documentation or Upload multiple files using the Universal GUI | Thinkwise Community). This makes it quite cumbersome to add custom components to our applications when using containers.

Please add the possibility to mount a volume to /etc/universal/custom/ for html files (or include html files in the assets mount).

@PeterKeeris We’re working on a solution for supporting Custom Components in the context of the Thinkwise Cloud. With this solution, we’ll aim to support scenario's in which customers run their own containers too!

We are still using platform version 2025.3 and like to use the functionality of the container. Is the upload also available in our version when we upgrade the container gui / container universal?

@peter.bongers Unfortunately not, it is dependent on this newly introduced SF feature with Platform Release 2026.2: https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/blog/2026_2#user-interface---added-custom-components-screen
