Pagination in Resource Scheduler

Hello TW,

May I request for an implementation of “Pagination” in the “Resource Scheduler”.

In our case we have thousands of records that we want to display in our “Resource Scheduler” that the screen component cuts the record with unidentifiable max no records.

Resource Scheduler with “Pagination” sample.

There will be cases where Scheduler will have multiple ‘schedule’ bars depending on how it is used, and it would be beneficial us if we can navigate to the records that we won't be able to see in the front page.

You are correct about the lack of visualization regarding a maximum number of records. Even though this screen does not show a grid, the pagination is applied as if there were a grid. The first page is currently shown based on the sorting of the subject. You can actually see this if you add a grid to the screen type.

Given this knowledge, it is possible to implement some form of pagination in the scheduler via ‘Go to row’ process actions which causes page switches.

But, back to this idea. What kind of paging would you like to see? Paging of the resources and activities via the time window (top-right) or are you thinking of multiple pages of resources on the left?

Hi Anne,

It would be nice if its a pagination for the next set of records on the same timescale, say currently its only showing the current top 10 records if select page 2 it should show the next 10.

if we can put it like a bottom pagination like in common searches it would be nice since users are already used to this setup.

Regards,

Jeff

I will go check that ‘go-to-row’ to see how far subjects affect this.
