For a project I'm using Android scanners to scan barcodes. When I tap on a field where the domain has the control barcode, the keyboard pops up like with any regular field.
I'd like the keyboard to stay hidden when the control is barcode.

Are you using hardware scanners or phones with a camera? Or both?
The bar code control is only needed when using the camera to scan bar codes.
I do not know the behaviour of the control when no camera is available; hardware scanners might not have a camera, they provide keyboard input when scanning.

This idea was submitted for the Mobile GUI, which will be supported up to 2023.1, see the Lifecycle policy update by Anne Buit. This will mean that the next release will be the last release for the Mobile GUI.
We advise to migrate and use the Universal GUI as this GUI can also be used on mobile phones, does not require an App downloaded from the App store.
