An Home button, which is visible in any form/context, to go back to the menu would be handy.

We are redesigning navigation on mobile devices for the Universal GUI, where it will most likely be possible to open the menu from any location.

Going back to the menu from anywhere (given you're not in editmode) can be achieved in the current Mobile GUI with a long press on the back button on the top left of the screen. 🙂
