As a relatively fresh user of the Thinkwise Platform I am confused by the fact that the terminology ‘Open Documents’ is used as header for something I would describe as 'Open tabs/screens/views/menu-items'. Open Documents to me has to do with files I have open, not some screen within an Enterprise application.

Do you believe it's a good idea to change this?

Alternatively: is it customizable in our own instance?

Did this topic help you find an answer to your question?

Hi Arie,

You can modify the translation of the Open Documents label by changing the translation of the GUI Object open_documents.

The translation object

This will have the desired effect:

The tricky thing to keep in mind is that the translation for this translation object is supplied via the GUI_TRANSL base project. However, changing the base project is not advisable, as a platform upgrade will undo this change by replacing the the base project.

To ensure the translation is changed permanently, you can use dynamic model to override the translation by replacing it on every generation with the desired translation.

FYI: for now we added the dynamic model workaround as suggested by @Anne Buit
