It would be a great addition if the task ask confirmation option, including the message, could be manipulated through the default (or layout) procedures. So if I have a condition that is OK, OK, but I want to reassure through confirmation, or is an error.  If all is OK, I don't need a confirmation, if I want the user to confirm, I can direct that. And if the message could also be manipulated I could give a informational, warning or error message.

For now, you can only manipulate the message, not the severity.

You can do this by adding a hidden parameter to the task and show this parameter in the confirmation message translation. The hidden parameter of the task then can be set by the default procedure.

You can use a process flow for this. Create a dummy start task (logic type: none) to fill in the parameters, then add different paths for different (or no) confirmation messages.
Due to the low number of votes and the available workaround, this idea will be closed.
