Small screen element for positioning custom screen data

I have a suggestion for adding a screen element wich can be placed only horizontal in the top or bottom of the screen where you show some custom data fields. This would be very usefull to show some dynamic filter settings for the screen or other data which is not directly record related but subject or filter related.

Maybe a detail tab is useful in this case showing a reference to the same subject without reference columns. Specify a subject variant on the detail to show the user a subset of the available columns/fields.
