In IAM and TSF a lot of duplicate actions and tasks exists which can be eliminated to make things much more clear.

Keep just one of each that works or merge functionality into one task with options

Hi Harm,

In the 2024.2 we made some improvements to the User screen:

Hi @Harm Horstman,

In addition to what Mark already mentioned, we have also hidden delete tasks in IAM where a handler is in place. See https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/blog/2024_2#generic---delete-tasks-hidden-in-iam.

Considering both our responses, are there any specific screens in the 2024.2 with duplicate tasks/actions that still require our attention?

Thank you @Jeroen van den Belt,

I will soon start upgrades to 2024.2 to experience the improvements you made, and will let you know when I see any more redundant tasks.

Hi @Jeroen van den Belt ,

We have moved over to 2024.2 now.

The layout for the users screen in IAM isn’t yet perfect and intuitive

The platform has enough options to make this much better.

Use of a card list instead of a grid could help a lot.

Hi Harm,

Thank you for your suggestion. Concerning the card list, we need to keep in mind that the Windows GUI does not support card lists. This is something we could look into once IAM is no longer available for the Windows GUI.

We appreciate this kind of input, so please feel free to continue sharing new ideas or responding to existing ideas that address these kinds of layout/usability aspects.

To keep the discussion here within the scope of this idea, could you please let us know if the duplicate tasks and actions have been sufficiently addressed? This will help us determine if we can close this idea and focus on other suggestions.
