Open a Universal GUI document from an externa application

We have a customer with an external application that will be using our Thinkwise based application. From this external application they want to be able to directly open a Thinkwise document (of a specific type, with a specific id). Prerequisite of course is that the person needs to be authenticated first, but once authenticated it should be able to open the specific form.For the external application it will be possible to know the type (subject) and the id needed to reference the specific instance.Concrete example.:For their product development (system integrations) they use a system to manage the backlog and such. Within our system we provide customer focused service management using a ticketing system. From their backlog they want to be able to open the ticket that they reference in their backlog, preferably using somekind of url.We are using Universal for our Thinkwise product development. Is it possible to access the Universal GUI in such a way that we can directly open a document

Uploading large files to Azure Files using staging with Indicium

Hi,I am trying to upload a (potentially large) document using staging within indidium. The document itself makes use of a storage location based on Azure Files. When I use the straight forward HTTP POST API  .. /<app>/document:{    "document_type_id": 1,    "document_date": "2023-05-18T00:00:00Z",    "name": "Test upload document 1",    "storage_location": {        "FileName": "test_upload_doc-1.pdf",        "File": "JVBERi0...”    }}this works fine. The file is BASE64 encoded and will be, as far as I know, be posted as one chunk.For large documents however this approach is to limited. I have read the posts about staging and think this will be the way to go for large documents. I have implemented a setup which uses the following steps:Create the stage for a new document: HTTP POST .. /<app>/document/stage_add Patch some columns: HTTP PATCH .. /<app>/staged_document(#<stage_id) { “name” : “test_upload_doc-1.pdf” } Try to upload the document Commit the stage: HTTP P

Screentype when not started from a menu item

Hi,We have made a screentype, similar to master-detail, that is normally used from a menu item and consists of a grid for the master and a tabs for the details including searching and filtering. When we use this subject in a lookup, it will use the screentype defined as the popup screentype when using the magnifier glass. This popup is however a bit limited because it has a fixed size (which can be changed with extended properties, but only for all popups) and it still includes searching and filtering. When we open a document in a process, so not from the menu, it will also open the document using the main screentype, including the grid. Within the process however we already know the specific instance which makes the grid not relevant and we would rather use another screentype which directly shows the details of the master with related child tabs (like in the popup, but then as a regular tab).So the questions is if another screentype can be used from within a process or maybe some othe

Disable the PWA installation option

Due to a problem we have with the OpenID Connect authentication provider in combination with PWA we would like to disable the “Install as PWA” from the menu so end-users cannot use this functionality and just use the browser based variant. Does anyone know if and how PWA installation can be disabled?

Object not found error

Although there is a solution mentioned about 8 months ago to solve this problem (disabling auto-edit), this is not possible for our solution. We make use of the form list functionality which depends on auto-edit being always “on”. The seconds possible cause is that we make use of state changing forms. This means that a user enters data in the form and when done, clicks on a task-button to post the form to be processed by a backoffice system. The task-button starts a process which performs additional validation and when successful posts the form. The posting of the form changes the state of the form by which it is no longer visible to the end-user and the form is automatically closed using a process task. The form is closed, but this does not prevent presenting the “Object was not found...” error message. We know that the form is no longer available (due to no longer complying to the filter condition of the variant), but cannot find a way to suppress the error message.

Cancel a form with empty mandatory fields using a task

Hi,I would like to know if it is possible to cancel editing an auto-edit/auto-save form using a task.The situation is next: we have several actions a user can perform within a form, based on table tasks like, submit, print and cancel. We have choosen to place these buttons at the right bottom corner of the form. The default behaviour of the tasks is that Thinkwise will perform a save and with that validate if all mandatory fields have a value. If not, a message will be shown and the task will not be executed. For the submit and print tasks this is the way to go. For cancel however, the save and mandatory field validation should not occur. Any empty mandatory field will show the exception message and prevent the task from executing.I know it is possible to first use the generic cancel button and then the task button, but this needs two actions by the end-user instead of one.Is there a way for a task to bypass the mandatory field validation and be executed regardless of the subjects stat

User group assignment with OpenID provisioning

We are using OpenID connect with User provisioning enabled. When a new (previously unknown) user logs on with OpenID Connect, a user record is created and based on the template, automatically assigned to a guest group. This guest group has a startup object with a task that initiates a registration process. The user has to add some additional information and submit this information to be validated by a backoffice system. The backoffice system validates and if valid, removes the user from the quest group and assigns the user to a member group. The user can now logon and gets the menu and functionality of a member.What happens however is that the provisioning functionality not only assigns the defined user group on creation of a new user, but also on any subsequent log on. So the guest group, while deleted through the API, is assigned again and with that the registration flow is started as well.My question: is there a way to have a process started only once based on provisioning? An addit

Customizing or replacing the consent screen

We are using a Thinkwise solution also as a PWA. When a user has to authenticate (using Thinkwise as OpenID Connect provider), there is also a consentpage show to accept the defined access. The question is if it is possible to customize (or entirely replace by using the API) the consent screen?

Customizing the OpenID Connect login screen

We were able to customize the (first) login screen of Universal using the custom.css as mentioned in replies within the community. This follow up question is about the second login page, when Thinkwise is being used as a passthrough to an external authentication provider. In our case these are AusweisApp (Germany specific) and eIDAS (European). The first page shows the company logo, company name and a continue button. After this a second page is shown where the OpenID Connect provider can be chosen (AusweisApp or eIDAS). Is it also possible to customize (use customer branding) on this second login page?

Secure deletion of files

Is there a way to securely delete a file from Thinkwise which for example is stored in Azure (Files), on a local filesystem (share) or other type of storage device?The requirement comes from a GDPR related specification which states that it should be possible to securely delete a file by:Overwriting it’s contents with random data to make it non-reproducable Overwriting it’s contents by encrypting the file (and throw away the key)
