We have a domain which looks like follows: In the GUI this is shown as: How can we limit this to 10,93 in this case eventhough our database holds a more specific value. I am aware there are multiple domain controls which can be used. Numeric, percentage and currency have been tested, however this did not do the trick.Plan B, is to add another column with a scale of 2. But we are trying to avoid this if possible. Does anyone know if this is possible?
We have a view which contains a lookup column to another table. Whenever you edit a row in this view, the user is able to select a value from the lookup. This looks like follows:Whenever we press this lookup, the user is able to select a cost record:This works like intended. However, we would like to have a prefilter which filters the records on a vessel type which is selected on the parent table (in this case our parent table is so called calculation). See the image below:So the idea is when this prefilter is ON, we want to filter all the cost records in this case on L-Class ice. Is it possible to collect this value and use this in our prefilter? For now we activated the search bar, to make the user manually fill in their vessel type. Thus, filter that way on their desired types for which they want to find cost records. This is not how we want it to work though. Using a prefilter would be way better to achieve this! Does anyone know if this is possible?
We have a pretty specific scenario in which we want to refresh a record and give immidiate feedback when a user changes a value in a look up screen. I will describe the scenario below:We have column with a lookup. The value of this column is the total amount of cost records we have within our cost table. Whenever the user wants to look into all the costs, then the lookup can be opened. Whenever we add a new record within this lookup. In this case we add another 300 euro’s. The total costs becomes 2.000,00.When we return to the main screen and thus we cancel here. We have the following result:The value of our column did not change with it at first. Yes, after we press the refresh button ourselves the value will update to the new value. However, we would like the application to this for us. We tested a few possibilities to try and achieve this:Subjects - Settings - Performance - Refresh after insert / update etc. This does not work. Process flow using a close document on costs (so when
Multi-selecting rows is quite new in Universal. We think the functionality itself is really interesting, and that is why we tested around a bit with it. A task is able to execute multiple times, depending on the amount of rows you selected. Recently, we have added a Context procedure which disables a task in certain situations. Whenever a row is selected which does not meet the requirements specified in the Context, then the task is disabled. If you multi-select a row for which the task is enabled via the Context, then the task is enabled again eventhough a row is selected for which you should not be allowed to execute the task. Luckily, the Universal GUI shows the following message when trying to execute the task:We noticed this behaviour does not happen in the Windows GUI. There the task is executed even if one of the selected rows disabled the task. Therefore, the questions we have regarding the multi-select functionality are:Is this behaviour final in the Universal GUI? If not, is
I want to add SVG icons to our application in the Universal GUI. When saving and thus creating a SVG icon by myself using Photoshop and Illustrator, the image doesn’t seem to change from black to white when changing to dark mode. Are there specific settings that need to be set for creating a SVG which does change color from black to white?
