New type of control for external API reponseClosed

Hello,We are currently using an external address validation API. Like many address validation APIs, this one also supports an "input parser". This would make it possible to get a correctly formatted and validated address back when typing an address. Would it be an idea to add a control of the type autocomplete (I am just saying). And this refers to the function to execute a "request" to an external API to validate the data entered and, where necessary, to complete it on the basis of the "response".Regards,Randolph

Example REST API Multipart Form using msxml2.xmlhttp

Hello all,Does anyone have an example of an t-sql request against a REST API with a Multidata/Form? We already call several REST APIs, but not with Multidata/form. Below is a setup (which does not work). The API converts a PDF document into fields in json format. It contains 2 fields that must be included:name (name of the document) document (base64 encoded string)Below is a first attempt, but it does not work :-). Exchange connector: SendGetAttchment @byte_arry is null when trying to save email atttachment

Hello,We are using the Exchange connector to process e-mails, which arrive on a certain e-mail address, within our ticket system. These emails often contain attachments and are saved using the sendGetAttachment + saveAttachment. However if the attachment is an e-mail the @byte_array will be NULL and will not be saved. Does anyone have an idea why @byte_array is NULL when the attachment is an e-mail?Thanks in advance.Greetings,Randolph

Redundant Reporting Service

Hello,We would like to redundantly equip a print server for printing with Reporting Services.Example:- SRVPRT01 (with printer PR00001)- SRVPRT02 (with printer PR00002) The wish is that if one print server fails, that the user can select another printer on the other print server with also Reporting services installed. Now I understand that you can only install 1 Reporting services on a Windows machine which looks at the print queue. If I activate the back-up print server which looks at the same queue, one gets the message "Printer name '\SRVPRT02\PR0001 - ThinkWise Test' not found in installed printers. Valid values are: PR0002 - ThinkWise Test". Is this a warning? The wish is that the Reporting service on the SRVPRT02 can be active as a back-up printserver and must be able to look at the same queue without the error message/warning. What is the best way to implement this?I hope I have explained it clearly. With regards,Randolph Beekman

New date/time control show user local time based on UTC date/timeMerged

Hello,We are an international logistics company with offices in several countries and are in the process of developing a new OMS (Order Management System). We are now faced with the problem of showing users data in local date/time in the OMS. This can of course be solved, but is rather cumbersome.Is it an idea to develop a new date/time control which automatically shows the local user date/time based on a UTC date/time stored in the database.Thanks in advance,Randolph Beekman

Exception when syncing AD groups

Hello there, I have created a subroutine/stored procedure to have the AD groups automatically synchronized using an SQL Agent job. Initially this job starts up fine (every evening at 20:00), but after some time the job fails with the message below: Executed as user: {service account}. <msg id="not_authorized_usr_admin"></msg> [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 50000).  The step failed. If I then manually kick off the stored procedure, the job will function correctly again for some time. Using SQL Server database mailer

Hello, Not realizing that Universal doesn't support Process Flows yet, I created a Process Flow that sent an email to our customer service. Later I understood this was not supported, then I removed the Process Flow and wanted to handle it by SQL Server database mailer using "msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail". All I had to do was adjust the task, create SQL Server mail profile and add it in the Stored Procedure via Functionality. The rest of the parameters were already present like body, subject, recipients. I modified 2 tasks which now both give an exception within Universal. Via the Windows GUI/Web it works fine. One task gives the message [Unknown error], but mails. The other task gives the exception [Stage task commit failed. Error: validation_failed] and does not mail. - Application Pool identity has SA rights within the SQL Server instance Does anyone have any idea what might be the reason? Thanks in advance.

How to deal with show/hide password control

Hello, We have built a replacement for Wunderlist ((sub)tasks registration). This will be used by our Terminal drivers. They will use a tablet and the application will be accessed through the Universal GUI with a 4G connection. These tablets will rotate between the different drivers. They will log in with their AD account. Problem now is that you can see the passwords of the other drivers by clicking on the eye of the password control. This is certainly not desirable. This is an example, but I can imagine there will be more situations that this can happen. How to deal with this? For example, can the show/hide password eye toggle be turned off?   Thanks in advance. Copy project folder task does not copy project folder

Hello, I'm not sure if it happened after the update to version 2020.1, but if I do a creation and I get the question if I want to copy project folder then no new version folder will be created. Permissions on the directory are correct. It is noticeable that in the "Copy project version" screen Project is empty and the version is set to 1.00. I can select the project and set the correct version number and all is being update except the creation of the new folder. What could be the cause of this?

Process schedule to IAM error

Hello, If you want to create a Process schedule in version 2020.1 and have selected "Once" at frequency type and you want to deploy this schedule to IAM it looks like the sync is crashing. But behind the GUI screen there may be a message that NULL is not allowed in column "occur_every_time_unit" in table IAM.dbo.process_flow_schedule. The reason for this is a difference in metadata between the SF and IAM for this column. In the SF, NULL is allowed. For now I changed properties of the column in IAM.
