Pagination and max no of records in Universal 2024.1.13

Pagination in Universal is a nice new feature in 2024.1.13. However, it appears that the number of pages for a table is maximized to the modeled number of "max no. of records" for a table.For performance reasons with the Windows Gui, we have provided some tables with a maximum number of records, but in Universal this is not necessary with pagination.It is even inconvenient because some of the records are no longer accessible.Or am I missing something?

Include / exclude screentypes on a subjectOn the backlog

A limited part of the screen types we have developed are marked as “available for user preferences” and thus released for end users. Users can select the released screen types via user preferences for a subject and switch to another screen type. However, in the different situations “main, detail, zoom, popup”, the choice of a screen type in our 360 setup does not always lead to desired situations. We would like to model in the SF per situation (main, detail, zoom, popup) which screen types may or may not be available for user preferences in IAM for a subject. The screen types that are offered as selectable for a user in the user preferences in IAM, in the scope of a subject, must respond to the modeled ones in the SF. This provides more flexibility and less unwanted situations

Double-click gridcell task in uneditable fields in combination with auto-editOpen

Starting a task with a double-click in a grid cell is a very nice new possibility!! In grids lists we have read-only columns containing icons that say something about the status of the line. Consider possible errors found (in degrees) or whether there are linked documents or notes present.We have created tasks that allow a user to launch floating screens to get an explanation of the error or call up documents or notes. With the new double-click in grid cell capability we can in principle eliminate many tasks from the standard taskbar, making the screens simpler in the user experience. However, all grid lists are in auto-edit by default and then double-clicking in uneditable cells does not yet.We want this possibilty to be supported.

Test default user groups and roles from the SFOpen

Testing default user groups with role assignments always requires synchronization with IAM after a change. Testing default user groups therefore becomes a time-consuming activity for our developpers. We would like to have an option for the developer to test default user groups from within the SF without synchronization to IAM.For example, if the developer could select a set of default user groups within the SF and use them to carry out the tests via IAM, this would save a lot of time. Perhaps, the possibility to synchronize only the changes made in default user groups and role assignments to IAM separately from other model changes could be an alternative that saves time.

Copy user preferences to other instances of IAMCompleted

Hello,Within IAM, the user preferences are stored at the user level. In IAM we have defined a number of dummy users and adjusted optimal user preferences.When a real user is added, the user preferences of one of the dummy users are copied to the new user. The new user will then immediately receive screens perfectly aligned to his organizational role.In our situation, we have many environments, each with its own IAM, in which dozens of tenants are included per IAM.We urgently need to copy one or more selected users (the dummy users) including all their user preferences from one IAM to other instances of IAM.

Execute source code (upgrade) parallelOn the backlog

Our development branches generally have 2, 3 (and sometimes more) databases linked. In the creation process we want the step “execute source code” (the upgrade) to be performed in parallel on all databases that are linked to an branche. This significantly shortens the turnaround time of the upgrade process. When, for example, a session id is added to the jobs (see screen “job log”), the parallel jobs in that session can be kept together.

Hide form fields by user preferencesOpen

In our standard application EVO, which is used by all our customers, we also set up user preferences for subjects in addition to usergroups end roles. Template users are included in IAM, with user preferences set up and optimized for each subject and template user.When a new user is added in IAM, the user preferences of a template user will be copied to a new user.We deliver the template users with user preferences to all instances of IAM. By applying user preferences, we are able to easily disable or enable (detail)screens and columns in grid lists. In this way we are able to hide parts of functionality within a subject that is not relevant for a customers or user. This enables us to deliver the software in various forms and thus accelerate implementations. However, fields in forms are not hidden based on user preferences, which means that fields are shown in forms that are not relevant to a customer or user. It is urgently desired that fields in forms based on user preferences are al

PDF merge possibilityCompleted

We would like to have the possibilty to merge pdf files. We generate the reporst and pdf with devexpres.  Devexpress itself has functionality (api) to merge pfd's.

Improve end-user experience by assigning tasks to grid, form and ribbonMerged

In our EVO application, subjects contain screen types with a grid above and a form with detailed information below the grid. Both screen parts have their own taskbar. Multi-selecting lines in the grid is a valuable option. Tasks are also regularly applied in combination with a process flow, in this case the selected records are first collected in an xml. There are situations where it is desirable that a task can only start on the form and not in the grid. Because some tasks are not suitable for use in combination with multi-select.At this moment it’s not clear to end users whether a task will work properly with multi-select or not. To improve the user experience we want to be able to configure the place from which the task may be started:• Always (grid, form, ribbon), this is now the default.• Only in the grid.• Only in the form.• Only in the ribbon. The placement of the task icons in the taskbar should respond to these settings. Merging different PDF files to one PDF

Hi, in some of our processes we generate different reports (with devexpress), export these reports to pdf and send the pdf's by e-mail. For instance invoices with attachments. Our customers would like to merge these pdf's to one pdf file and afterwards send the merged pdf file by e-mail. Devexpress itself has functionality (api) to merge pfd's. Is this api supported? If not, is there another way to merge different pdf file?
