We have some tables with start and end dates per row. When we do an export we see that all dates are no longer in the format that we used in the app. In Universal we use dd-MM-yyyy and the downloaded file uses MM-dd-yyyy. Is there a way to make the downloaded file respect the preferred date settings?
Payments in ThinkwiseWe have created a lunch app for our colleagues where they can register whether they used the company lunch. The cost for a single lunch is €2,50 and this must either be paid directly or from your wallet. Therefore, we had to integrate some sort of payment provider. This article describes how we implemented this payment provider for a single payment. We used an ideal (Dutch payment method) provider. Please note we solemnly implemented this for the Universal GUI, therefore it might not work as smoothly in one of the other GUI’s.Payment processBefore diving into the solution, it is important to have a little understanding on how payment providers work. A payment provider must be connected in order to make any payments. Once there is a connection with a provider you will find out that it does not return any useful information by itself. For example, if you would like to know the status of a payment you will need to send a request for this status to the provider. The pro
We're using the deployment center to deploy our application. The test and production environment currently are on version 2.18 (from a TW 2022.2 instance). Now I've upgraded the Thinkwise platform and want to deploy the application again but now with the new version. This fails because ‘2.18 is not a supported upgrade version’ I can't find the ‘previous version’ option in the model, that used to be there, but I also cannot upgrade the application from the main branch. How do I upgrade my application, using deployment center?
For a new customer I was setting up the environments and after everything was set up I found something missing. Since the application looks exactly the same on all environments (dev, acc and prod) I was missing a feature to easily spot the difference between them. Therefore I've implemented a simple css in the custom.css file. Between environments I've modified two parameters.content (‘DEVELOPMENT’ for dev and 'ACCEPTATION’ for acc) background (red for dev and blue for acc)For the production environment we did not implement this code. So if you see a badge in the left bottom corner it is not production. body > div:first-of-type::after { content: 'ACCEPTATION'; display: block; position: absolute; bottom: 1px; left: 1px; background: blue; z-index: 999999999999999999999999999999; color: white; padding: 10px 20px;}Since it is implemented in Universal it works for any application, including IAM.This is what it looks like:
I am running into a scenario where I want to show a graph for salary growth where 4 persons are shown at once. Horizontal axis I want the dates and on the vertical axis I want the amount they earn. Once somebody got a raise I want it to be represented on that date. For example, for one person it would look like this: Once we add more collegues and fill the graph with more data we get empty fields, because not everybody gets a raise on the same date. This results in a graph that is scattered and has gaps. I know in excel you can connect these gaps in graphs (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/display-empty-cells-null-n-a-values-and-hidden-worksheet-data-in-a-chart-a1ee6f0c-192f-4248-abeb-9ca49cb92274) It would be awesome if we could connect the dots like this in Thinkwise as well.
I would like to be able to kill abandoned or long running system flows. Sometimes a flow gets abandoned but the signal is not picked up by indicium/universal and it looks like it is still running. It would be very helpful to be able to kill any systemflow from deployed applications that runs for over a certain amount of time. Ideally the amount of time could be configured by the developers, something like we expect this flow to last for 5 minutes and if longer than 30 we want to be able to kill it.
With regards to the icon library, I find myself to replace icons by accident. This modifies ofcourse all current instances of the icon.To my opinion it is too easy to change an icon. I would like to have a little warning when an icon already is in use. Something like “do you know for sure, the icon is already in use on the following places: …. “
