Hello Vincent,Thanks for your clarification. Uploading of the document now works as expected.
Hello Peter,We are also using form-list as part of our solutions. Although we know the form-list is not fully completed yet, it would be relevant to get an insight of the currently supported and unsupported functionality (and controls for that matter). I have already registrered tickets for issues we have encountered. Is there some overview of the current state of form-list within Universal?
Hi Vincent. Thanks for the feedback. We had a look into it and this ideed seems to be the functionality we are looking for. We will first need to upgrade to a newer version though, as this functionality has come available as of 2022.2.17b.
Just as potential additional reason the situation might occur is when something in the record has changed (like a state) which places the record outside of the prefilter condition.
Hi Anne,Thanks. The hacky 😉 solution was the one we had implemented as a work-a-round. W’ll make it the definitive solution for now.
Hi Erwin. Not exactly the answer I was hoping for, but thanks for your swift reply. We will have a look how we can best guide our end-users through the form with the standard functionality available.
I think our requirement could fall under this idea. It is not about online or offline, but is about data not being available and with that, in the same record. We use Universal as target platform and the solution should support mobile devices. We have a data-entry form based on a definition which specifies what should be shown in the form. One of the options is to define if a document should be uploaded in the form or not. To show the form we use a screentype with a preview component in a second tab. However when the definition specifies that no document can be uploaded, the upload column will be hidden (using a layout procedure) but the preview tab should also be hidden which, as far as my knowledge reaches, is not possible at the moment.
As this post is 2 years old, my question is if there are any changes to this topic since then? So, if it is already possible to record user actions using Universal?
Hi Mark,Thanks for the quick reply and the information.
Also sorry to see the request being declined. It is imho not realy an exotic feature, but one that might occur more often. We also have the same kind of situation where the upgrade logic uses new domain values and runs into an exception because the upgrade script runs before the new domain values are active.
Hi Mark, thanks for the quick reply!
Hi Mark, config.json already had the mentioned setting as specified. Changed the custom.css and it works. Thanks for the advice!
Hi Mark,We are already using the named file connectors, but the customer wants to be sure no one can recover the files somehow. Thanks for the answer. I think it should even not be the responsibility of Thinkwise, but rather of the underlaying storage system to provide the required functionality, but had to ask none the less 😀.
Although we also use the copying of the signature into remarks of the control procedure, we were thinking about a slightly different solution. There is a lot of white space on the right side of the editors frame. Wouldn’t it be possible to show the signature of the controle procedure there instead of pasting it into the code. This would then always show the actual signature and there would be no need to copy it at all (unless you want to ofcourse).
