Translations not merged - case insensitive?

We changed a few translations, where the only change was the casing of the translation. The changes were modified 17-3 and after merging the branch to our test branch these translations were not merged into the test branch. The modified date in the test branch is still 11-3 and not updated to 17-3.
Is the merging of translations case-insensitive?

Hi Hugo,

The collation of the Software Factory is case insensitive by default. Any change in casing is not seen as a change I'm afraid. We do have a User story to research this on how we can deal with this effectively.
