Translation issue with dynamic language implementation

Hello,

We were referencing this post for a dynamic language implementation: https://community.thinkwisesoftware.com/questions-conversations-78/translating-model-objects-in-business-logic-1991, but the session context variable SESSION_CONTEXT(N'tsf_appl_lang_id') only returns “eng” as the language, regardless of the language set by the user. It worked until recently and we were wondering if the new SF updates made some changes that might alter this functionality.

Thank you!

HI @Valentin,

Could you create a ticket in TCP for product Indicium, so we can further investigate this?

Hi Valentin,

Could it be that you are testing on the SF metasource? If so, the language set up for your User in the Software Factory is used to my knowledge.

It appears than changing the user preference language does actually work, but with a delay of around 1-2 minutes. After the language change, the screen auto-refreshes, but the language does not change immediately. It eventually works by manually refreshing after that 1-2 minute interval.
