hi,

how can I show the project version in a windows client? As we have different versions of the project running, the user would like to see this in the client.

The version is in table sf_project_info, so we can get the info, but isn’t there a project setting or whatsoever to put this in the About section of the application?

thanks!

Hey Tejo,

The only method through which this can currently be achieved is by putting the project version in the translation of your application in IAM. That way it will be visible to the user in the top bar of the application. When there are multiple applications it will also be visible in the application list in the bottom left corner.

Would this help?

Also as a bit of a heads-up: from the 2023.1 version project versions will cease to exist. If you haven't read the blog on this topic just yet, you can find it here:

Thanks Renée, we’ll fix it in the translation and wait-and-see what the 2023.1 version will look like 😊
