Using TSFReportMailer is already a very nice feature in Thinkwise, however, we would like to know the status of a message:

  • has it been sent
  • not sent (perhaps reason / error report)
  • message still in queue on mail server

Is it possible to obtain this information, and, if so, how and/or where (preferrably with example)

thank you,

Paul

The TSFReportMailer does not return any information about the status of an email. I suggest to use the SMTP connector in a process flow for this. Ultimately, we want to replace the custom TSFReportMailer task with process flows anyway.

"ultimately” is vague. is there a rough time path for this?

We don’t have an ETA for this yet, but we will automatically migrate TSFReportMailer configurations to process flows so it is perfectly fine to keep using the TSFReportMailer.
