I am trying to simulate different roles for testing purposes. I did the following:

  1. In Runtime configuration, edit one or make one of your own and set “Simulate role” to the role you want to test
  2. Select this runtime configuration when starting your app

I get the following message:

Project version X.XX is not valid for this application. Please contact your system administrator.

Whenever I remove the role in my runtime configuration, I can start the app normally.

How do I simulate my created roles correctly?

Hi Nick,

That may happen if the role has not gotten sufficient rights to the Menu. Can you verify that and give rights to the menu?

That was indeed the case, thanks a lot!
