Am I correct, to believe that there will be no new version of Indicium (Basic), but use the Indicium (Universal) instead as only Indicium?

Good news, a new version of the Indicium (Basic) is set to be available today that will ensure compatibility with the 2021.1 version. The current version 2020.2.10 should also be compatible.
Edit: 2021.1.10 is available for download in TCP

Version 2021.1.10 of Indicium Basic has now been released as well. But as mentioned by Mark, version 2020.2.10 will also work on the 2021.1 platform.
