The past months I have worked on an old app (2021.3) which runs in the Microsoft cloud (Azure, SQL Server and Web App).

Now I have upgraded the 2021.3 version to 2023.2 (IAM and SF/Application), but I receive the message above and its blocking me from getting it to work.

My question is: how do I fix this problem and get my apps to work?

Hi Alfons,

This can be due to missing the projectversion (or branch) property in the .ini file. More info here: Configuration file (.ini) | Thinkwise Documentation (thinkwisesoftware.com)

No, that does work then I get the message:

Thinkwise (2023.2.12.0)

"Invalid object name 'branch’”

The ini file is currently:

metasource = SF
rdbms      = SQLSERVER
server     = DESKTOP-6012BAG\SQLEXPRESS
database   = KIO_2
model      = KIO_PRJ
projectversion = MAIN
language   = EN
authentication = mswindows
globalconfiguration = null
executionmode = enduser

Is KIO_2 an SF database?

Since the metasource is SF, the database property should have the SF-database name:

Database property

Hi @AlfonsM, did Mark's reaction help you out?

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply, its been quite busy. Our environment was updated several times, which had messed things up regarding versions.

Now we (with a TW consultant) have updated the environment from scratch and things are in better shape now. Ticket can be closed.
