Our customer just wants to add a filename to the database without actually uploading the file itself.I get the impression that if you want to select a file and then retrieve its filename, you automatically have to upload the file.Is this impression correct? Or how can I get a filename (with or without path) by selecting a file without actually uploading the file?
At a detail reference you have the option to do some Model settings. One of them is cascading delete, which removes all detail records that are linked to the removed parent record. Set null will probably reset the link to the parent to null.I also see that there is an option for cascaded update. I'm not familiar with cascaded update, and would like to know what it does and what to keep in mind?I'm currently working on a trigger that copies child records when a parent is connected to another record. Concrete: I have a table A with B as details. I also have a table C with details D, which has details E.For records of table C I want to select various A's and place them in the linked table D. But at the same time make a copy of the linked B's and place them in the linked E. Is this a situation that can benefit from cascaded update? When removing a record from table D I will use cascaded delete to remove the linked records in E.
We use 4 prefilters for a number of screens:show everything show only location A show only location B show only location CThe prefilters are grouped in an exclusive group. Is it possible to overrule the default setting ("show everything") based on a value stored in the database per user? So that user 1, for example, gets the prefilter "show only location A" as the active prefilter, while for user 2 "show only location C" is set to active by default?
Cannot see "Does the Session log in IAM tracks also User Action log for Universal ?" on TW roadmap Q3
Is the following issue (check link) still valid? Because we don't see it in the Roadmap on Q3 2021. Please re-verify if this will be included and when it will be included.https://community.thinkwisesoftware.com/questions-conversations-78/does-the-session-log-in-iam-tracks-also-user-action-log-for-universal-1775
I have very straight forward process flow: Based on a value of a task parameter, I would like to skip sending the email (via the SMTP connector). I know it is possible to do this with code, but I can't find where to do so. Can someone please explain me in a few steps how I can acomplish this?
Hello,Currently, when i create a badge control procedure, the checkbox ‘Badge’ under Performance on the subject is automatically checked, but the checkbox ‘Show badge’ on the main subject is not automatically checked. Is there a reason why this is the default action? Wouldn’t it make much more sence to just automatically check the ‘Show badge’ box as well?
If you are using a Windows GUI, which is connected to the database using the Indicium Basic, to use any form of single sign on?Currently I have set this up for a client of mine. They will have to insert their username or email address and password. But their Windows Credentials match their account in IAM. So you would kind of expect that the Authentication option MSWINDOWS would be available when using the Indicium Basic as your server. Is there any way to set this up?
Has someone in the community established a succesfull integration with gmail, especially for the incoming emails. Requirement is to store incoming emails (from the google gmail client) into a TW application and connect them to clients, contacts, orders including attachments.Hope someone has done that… Or somebody who knows somebody who has done that
Is there a way to have the badge auto refresh after updating a table? the table has a badge attached to it (with the select count() from table where id badge control procedure) and we set the intervals to 300 seconds but we are also hoping to know if we can have it update itself after adding new record or deleting a record
Hi, From what I have read, it is possible to use Two Factor Authentication (2FA) in the Windows GUI by initializing it with the Indicium environment. However, I could not find anything about using 2FA in the Web GUI. Is it at all possible to use 2FA in this context? If so, how, and if not, are there any plans to enable this sort of thing?Kind regards, Dries Fransen
Why can I only have one condition on a conditional layout? I already came across multiple cases where I wanted to use a conditional layout based on more than 1 condition. For example, to check if an order is too late. You only want to check for orders that are not delivered yet. By doing this, only the not delivered orders get a conditional layout when their expected delivery date is exceeded. Is it possible that we will can query for conditional layouts? or add multiple conditions?
I've table with 60+ fields and some related tables (parent-child relation). Based on a status in the header table, the record in that table and the related records in the child tables should be made readonly in a layout procedure. Is there option to make this in a ‘simple’ part of code without specifying all the fields separately?Otherwise there is a risk when adding new fields, that these will be missed to make them also readonly. Is this possible with dynamic model? Thanks in advance!
Using a task we send email messages together with attachment report which is auto generated, using TSFReportMailer. This works fine, our message can be created, along with subject and recipient(s), and even sends an attachment, however, so far only in .pdf-format. According to the documentation, here https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/kb/report_mailer.html#parameters it should be possible to send the attachment in for example .xls format? in our task we added the following task parameter: We have tried various different setting, so far no luck. please advise, thank you Paul
Hi, Is there a way to register failed logins (by logging this in IAM) and is it possible to lock accounts when failed logins are over a certain threshold (i.e. 3 failed logins and account is locked) when IAM is used for access control? This is without Windows Authentication and no RDBMS users/logins. rgds Ricky
