OAuth login connector - oauthredirecturi Extended property not working?

I'm trying to test the recently released OAuth login connector support in the Universal GUI. Thanks to the Docs I conclude that I have to update the Extended property oauthredirecturi to switch from http to https.I did this on our TEST environment for the Application in which I am testing this We had the Indicium recycled after the changeIAM Extended propertyAzure AD error@Vincent Doppenberg However, the error still mentions the http uri. Could it be that the Universal GUI does not look at the IAM Extended property override?Another question: previously we always used the /signin-microsoft for this scenario in Insomnia. Why is this changed to oauth-callback and should we register both Reply URLs in the Azure AD App or update to oauth-callback for the OpenID Provider scenario too?

Integration with Matomo

Good morning,Yesterday we have tried out the extended property that should enable an integration between Thinkwise and Matomo: We would like to use Matomo for heatmaps and session recordings.Despite that we have set the extended property (and even installed the JS; https://developer.matomo.org/guides/tracking-javascript-guide), Matomo's dashboard is not receiving any input from our application built in Thinkwise. Could you explain what we need to do in order to integrate Matomo properly?Thanks in advance.

Deeplinking Universal

We are pointing with a (generated) deeplink in e-mails to our customers and suppliers. These pointers refer to our good old WebGUI portal.I really love the universal GUI and I would like to generate these deeplinks to Universal for a faster acceptation of Universal (and close the old WebGui portal)Is deep linking already possible in Universal or planned?

Using SQL functions in calculation fields

hi, I’m trying to add some calculated fields in a table, and found the calculation field and the specific possibilities for each type.The calculation is rather complex and can be used in multiple tables, so I want to make one function with parameters. But I can’t find examples using SQL functions in a calculation field? Like how to create a control procedure (templated) to create and maintain an SQL function in SF, and using it in a calculation field.  I can't find any in the training course, documentation or the community info. Does anybody have a simple example?It is probably a n00b question, but hey, I am ;-)

Automatic row selection in Universal

Hi,I was wondering if it's possible to disable the ‘auto selection’ of a row in Universal. This in part with auto-edit/save enabled can lead to wrongful data entries by accident without even noticing (fat finger mistakes).In the Windows GUI this behavior already exists. Even if auto-edit is enabled the user has to knowingly click on a row to ‘activate’ it for auto-editing. I've looked into the available extender properties but to no avail. Thanks!

Setting up "forgot password" error in logs

I tried to set up the “forgot password” function in IAM. So I filled in Global settings the email service and the IAM user has the function “change password” on. But I get some strange errors in the logs of Indicium after I use the forgot password function.

Can anyone explain why table task parameters behave different in cubes? It seems like that task parameters are only passed thru for primary key columns. Or are additional settings required for this?

Color Picker for Thinkwise Software Factory

I have asked for a tool to convert a RGB color to a value that is used within a Thinkwise application. For other purposes I have used a tool called ColorPic, but the numbers used to store colors when using a Thinkwise application don't match (far from it). It's probably a DevExpress of C# thing Now I am pretty sure I already got an answer pointing to a site or a tool that converts various colors (RGB , HEX and what have you), but I can't remember from whom (or whether it was in TCP, an e-mail or by phone). So if anybody knows of such a tool or a site that does the conversion please share. Triggers vs Process flows

On the one hand you can use a triggers control procedure for performing extra actions. On the other hand you can also accomplish this by using process flows.I'm curious to find out reasons for using one over the other. Are the Trigger-procedures old functionality that will be deprecated soon? Or are Trigger-procedures the way to go?When do you use one over the other and why?

How to upload a file using Indicium 2021.1

Is there any documentation available explaining how to upload files via Indicium (rel. 2021.1.10).In Fidler I see that a different mechanism is now used, which uses the content-Type: application / octet-stream.How can I get that done from an external application?

Indicium Universal login URL

We have an internal API which consumes data from our Thinkwise application through Indicium. Up until recently we had been using Indicium Basic, however recently we have started our upgrade to Universal. For authenticating users with Indicium through the API, in Basic we used the URL indicium/(sf|iam)/<app_id>/$logout, to which we would send a basic authentication header supplied by the client calling the API. However, in Universal this endpoint does not seem to exist anymore. Is there a similar endpoint in Universal which allows us to authenticate users through a basic auth header? Other ways of authenticating users are of course also welcome, but some form of username/password authentication is preferred.Thanks in advance!

Preview component

When we use the preview component in the web GUI we don' t get the result we expect. Instead we get an error which we can't explain. Do we need to adjust some security settings? How to make a File Storage path variable?

I want to upload a contract for a employee. The file should be stored in a employee folder on the file server. The domain assigned of the file-upload column contains a predefined network path. DBCC CHECKDB error in Software Factory database

I performed a DBCC CHECKDB on our databases and it found an error in our SF database: Msg 8947, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Table error: Multiple IAM pages for object ID 349973069, index ID 1, partition ID 72057598823759872, alloc unit ID 72057598842699776 (type In-row data) contain allocations for the same interval. IAM pages (1:396048) and (1:292862). CHECKDB found 1 allocation errors and 0 consistency errors in table 'linked_project' (object ID 349973069). CHECKDB found 1 allocation errors and 0 consistency errors in database 'DB_software_factory'. repair_allow_data_loss is the minimum repair level for the errors found by DBCC CHECKDB (DB_software_factory). I have no clean backup and the DBCC is not able to repair the error. I can do a clean install of the SF, but I will need to export/import the projects. Is this possible? Are there other solutions, like replacing the 'linked_project' table?

Performance issues Universal GUI

How do I turn this off? I have a view that calculates real-time timings, however I notice that because of lookups the view gets queried once for itself but then also for every lookup. There are many performance issues with this:Why the OR statements and not the actual pre-filter, they tend to be less performant than the exists clause in the pre-filter. Why all lookups are based on the base-table with a left join? Why not directly lookup on the lookup table?This setup is really killing me. How to set up the Process flow monitor in universal

Hi, With the recent release, I was curious to use the process flow monitor in Universal.However, after trying via different routes (IAM, indicium in developer mode) the monitor stays empty.  The documentation about this new feature is quite brief. IAM auto-provisioning of Users

Hi All, We want to create a new app for getting Applicants to submit their details for job postings we have within the Group.The process that will be followed is first the applicant is reviewed and secondly upon approval they can get further access to complete their profile putting more details. If an applicant is Approved to be a suitable candidate for a position then he will be transfered to our main system for hiring process and further checks.I know we can have OPENID providers configured in IAM and we can do auto-provisioning, basically they can authenticate with the external provider and we can add them to a default User group. We have currently this configured for our main system with Azure which auto provisions new users within our organization. How can I achieve auto-provisioning for creating IAM users to a default user group? the users will not be part of our organization thus we need them as IAM users instead of External connected to an OPENID provider. Would it be possible

Using Oauth to send emails through office 365 SMTP

With the deprecation of basic auth for office 365 SMTP is it possible to authenticate through other means in order to send e-mails?I am currently trying to use the SMTP connector to send e-mails but keep getting -2 status codes for this action Error LOG:Process action "send_email" in processflow "flow_anne_mail_test" in application 83 threw an exception. (571360e4)System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: The SMTP server requires a secure connection or the client was not authenticated. The server response was: 5.7.57 Client not authenticated to send mail. Error: 535 5.7.139 Authentication unsuccessful, basic authentication is disabledShould i be using another connector? Or switch to another SMTP service like sendgrid?

Calling: Update data migration source task

Hi all, we have automated the build of a TW end product using indicium and the start_deployment_package task. This all works just fine, and now we want to automate the update_data_migration_source_version task as well.When the deployment package generation is successful, we want to mark this version as the start point of the data migration for the next version.This way, we should have new migration start point for when we start the new version, and eliminate the possible migrations errors that may occur when the developers forget to mark the version correctly as the next start point. Our build tool knows the correct model_vrs_id for the generated build, as this is read from indicium by selecting the correct value based upon the model_id, branch_id and  model_vrs_description. we then post this to the indicium server url: iam/sf/update_data_migration_source_versionwith the following payload: This call results in a 403 - Forbidden. Azure Indicium(Universal) appsettings.json encryption of the DB username and password

How do we secure the username and password of the DB connection details in the appsettings.json not to be in plain text in Azure ? I saw from another article that the Azure Managed Identity is not supported. Can we use Azure KeyVault? Is there another alternative?

Filter dropdown on result other dropdown

Hi, Is it possible to filter a dropdown (lookup) on a result from another dropdown in the same form? I have a form for a ticket. On this form I have a dropdown with departments. When I choose a department, I would like to filter the next dropdown with employees for the selected department. When I use a reference with department_id and employee_id, then the dropdown depends too much on the departments. I want to have a dropdown with all employees if I don’t select a department. Is this possible with a reference, filter, view?Can anyone help me?

Application not found message in Indicium

I am trying to activate indicium + Mobile GUI for one of my customers. The Test/Demo environment and the model of my application works without problems. Unfortunately the final application can not be found.
