Machine to Machine with openID

I've created a client application that is supposed to log every x minutes in the thinkwise database to know it's alive. There will be around 1500 clients that would basically use the same access token, as I will use a local parameter to diferentiate the different logs. To prevent having 1500 logins every x minutes, I presume it's preferable to use the token / refresh token. I'm trying to configure the opeid Machine-Machine integration as described here:Client applications | Thinkwise Documentation (thinkwisesoftware.com)The big question for me is: Now what? I've looked for documentation about how to test the configuration in insomnia/postman, but I've not found any help here.  Could you help me with these questions for configuring in insomnia: To use the oauth 2.0 flow with client credentials 1 - I set the url the url I want to retrieve access from: GET <base_url>/organizations2: granType: Client credentials3. access token url: WHAT SHOULD THIS BE?4. client id: I presume this sho

Conditional layout with dynamic model

Hi,I have tables which have a is_deleted column. Now I want to make a clear distinction where is_deleted = 1. I can do this with conditional layout where the background color is specific color, but adding this for each table is very time consuming. fyi: My application is in Universal GUI.Is this possible with the dynamic model? If so, how should I do this? Thanks

Logs folder on Azure app service

I have the web gui on an Azure App Service. But I notice the “Logs” folder isn't created, and if it exists the files aren't placed there. I use this ini settings: Server = server.database.windows.netDatabase = iam-databaseRuntimeConfiguration = RDBMS = SQLSERVERMetasource = IAMLanguage = engAuthentication = rdbmsExecutionmode = developerCSVLogging = TrueLogToFile = Yes When I copy the GUI folder with the same ini to a local IIS application it does create the folder and a Debug.log on start-up. Do I have to do a bit more on Azure, or am I looking at a bug?

Look-up with more primary/foreign keys

Hi,  i have 2 tables as shown in the picture below:   when i try to set up a look-up in Subjects on item_cast columns, it works only for item_type_cast, the final output is shown in the picture below: when i press the “search” icon, i see no entries in warehouse_items_table.  Main problem is: i don’t know how to build a look-up with a reference to 2 primary keys.

Is it possible to update a record via linked server with a mobile app?

In a default-control-procedure we update a record via the linked server, without any problem with the windows app. If we use the same default-control-procedure in the mobile app with get an unkown error. The error occurs during the post of the ExecuteDefault script

Repeating view every 30 seconds

Hi, In debug-mode we see every 30 seconds a select executed which we can not seem to influence. The settings in the subject(variant) are not used (please noitice the screendumps) How can we (de)actived this or where can we find this (default??) setting ? How to set Project folder specification on AWS Elastic Beanstalk?

We have set up our Software Factory using AWS: (https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/deployment/aws/#creating-an-aws-elastic-beanstalk-environment). But we have troubles with setting the Project folder specification for the Creation procedure since Software Factory version 2021.3. Our Indicium runs in AWS ElasticBeanstalk, the folders of which we cannot reach directly.Ideally we would like to write those code files to an AWS S3 bucket. Is there a way to do this?

Flow with HTTP connector to get SVG image doesn't give any error but also no result

I am querying a public API that returns an SVG. The flow looks fine and doesn't give any error. It cycles through all the records and invokes the API. In a process procedure I update the table with the result. There is no error, how do I find out what is wrong? If I invoke the API manually I get a result. https://servicodados.ibge.gov.br/api/v3/malhas/estados/{uf} the {uf} is a variable.  You can try RJ for example.  The result is of content-type: image/svg+xml and is catched with a VARBINARY(MAX) I tend to think to result is not properly saved or handled.. any ideas?

What is the format to write the Body in HTTP connector for API?

I want to create users in IAM using API. In order to POST the details , I am using below JSON query as the Body. Its working via Postman, but not through SF. TSF Error generate code group

While generate code group for the defaults in the functionality I get an arror"Failed to re-generate code group DEFAULTS due to an error caused by control procedure sql_defaults.The error was: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'prog_object_pk'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.prog_object'. The duplicate key value is (VRR, 9.50, default_shipping_order).” Also with generate definition we got an error while executing the sql_layouts

Developer menu in windows UI not visible

Hi all, We’ve setup a new project and as far I can see all parameters are likely the same. However when starting the end application via the SF (we’re just started development) the developer menu is bar is not visible. I just copied the INI file of another application and only changed the DB name. Our new application does not show the developer menu. The application where I copied the INI file from does show the developer menu? The line executionmode = developer is in both INI’s   Where else do we need to check something??

Can anyone explain why table task parameters behave different in cubes? It seems like that task parameters are only passed thru for primary key columns. Or are additional settings required for this?

What's the difference between the data types ROWGUID and UNIQUEIDENTIFIER

When creating a domain you must choose the data type. In this case I want to create a Global Unique Identifier (GUID). Clicking on the data type lookup I am able to see more details for each data type (figure sorted by type).In this list there are two Data types of Type “Guid”.First question is what is the difference between these Data types?Also what is the meaning of each attribute? And in particular does Calculated mean that columns of this type will not be stored in the database?

Barcode scanning

Hi,I've made a barcode scanner view where i scan a barcode and it inputs the text behind the barcode.Is it possible that when i scan another barcode it automatically changes field “Barcode” with the new text? It needs to have the same effect as selecting the barcode text and scanning the new barcode. Is it something i can edit in Thinkwise or is it a seperate query that i need to write?  Barcode after scanning. Scanning a new barcode doesn't have any effect on changing the Barcode field (i need to select the field and the value in it to make a change)

Example REST API Multipart Form using msxml2.xmlhttp

Hello all,Does anyone have an example of an t-sql request against a REST API with a Multidata/Form? We already call several REST APIs, but not with Multidata/form. Below is a setup (which does not work). The API converts a PDF document into fields in json format. Reducing selected columns to only the visible ones

Hi,I’m hiding a fair set of columns in a subject through IAM and now I’m wondering 2 things:Can you help me understand why are the selected columns in the sql query not matched with the logic behind a subject?How can I achieve a matching column set query with only the visible columns and the possible logic behind the subject so this can hit the performance drastically (sometimes for the bad, but most for the good of it) rgds Ricky

Output JSON data via Indicium

I am trying to make a link from a third party application to my Thnikwise application via Indicium. For this I prefer the use of tasks/stored procedures with output parameters, which works fine. To minimize the amount of requests I like to return detail data in JSON format as output. It works almost as expected, except that Indicium ads escape characters (backslashes). Conditional formatting without specific column in forms

Setting conditional formatting without setting a specific column and without condition is now only working in grids. It can be used to show a data in a grid with a different font. Unfortunately this is not working for the same table for fields in a form.  Why not?

Deeplinking Universal

We are pointing with a (generated) deeplink in e-mails to our customers and suppliers. These pointers refer to our good old WebGUI portal.I really love the universal GUI and I would like to generate these deeplinks to Universal for a faster acceptation of Universal (and close the old WebGui portal)Is deep linking already possible in Universal or planned?

What does "Open the table empty and show the filter screen"?

Under user preferences > Subject configuration there's a checkbox: It's not really documented for end users, but I found something similar I think it should do: https://docs.thinkwisesoftware.com/docs/sf/subjects.html#start-empty-with-filter If I have the checkbox above checked, it doesn't what I expect it should do: After opening the subject via the menu, it should immediate open the ‘Filter’ dialog (as described here). If I check the box in the subject, it does show an filter.
