Process with HTTP connector to download file and subsequently unzip action.. doesn't work.

Hi. I have flow that downloads a file from the internet HTTP connector, which I subsequently want to unzip. This doesn't work.. the return JSON value stays NULL and there is not errorlog in indicium.. how do I find out what is going wrong? Ps. I would be great if you update the docs with an example output JSON..  It just says that a JSON is returned not what it looks like so we know how to process it.

Group until disappears after removing a record

Hey guys, So i have a task which unlinks connected items which then appear in another screen called unconnected items, but whenever i unlink the first item in the list the group until in this case WH# disappears. It does not happen if i unlink the second item instead of the first. any idea what could be causing this?

auto refresh table when activating the screen

In this example I have 2 screens both showing data from the same view:A BWhen I have both screens open and I change the data thru screen B I need to do an manual F5 when I go back to screen A. Is it possible to have it automagically perform a F5 on the reactivating of the screen?I can use “auto update” but I dislike the fact that it is not realtime unless I use for example 1 second. But that causes a lot of sql requests.Any suggestions?

Check the progress of a systemflow

Hi,In a windows gui we cannot have a subflow (some API calls which can take a few seconds) in a manually started processflow, so we have made a systemflow starting this subflow based on a queue table.From the client, we have a task starting a processflow that inserts a record in the queue table, and then system flow will execute. During the execution, I want to disable the task-button and when the systemflow is finished I want to refresh the table so the user sees the new information.In the queue we have a processed bit, so it’s possible the processflow progress. When the processed bit is set, we can finish the processflow. Using waitfor delay seems to freeze the whole application.Is it possible to pause or temporarily loop a processflow, without freezing the app?

Await result and background tasks in universal GUI

Hi I have a task in my application that takes a long time to complete and times out in the universal GUI. Since it was part of a process flow I assumed it had to wait for the task to finish to send the user to the result of the task. Now we have decided to turn it into a background task that does not send the user anywhere and is not contained in a process flow. We switched the setting await result to “no” but it seems the universal GUI does not pick up this setting since it still opens the loading window and times out after some time. Setting in SFTask is pendingNow the only thing I can still think of is that it is a task as a menu item could that be blocking the await result option? Or does await result not work in Universal GUI if so are there any workaround i can use?

Download files from Azure file storage

Hi, We generate some XML files for a financial interface. These XML files are generated by a Scheduled Process flow. On a daily basis this averages on about 40 files. These files are saved in a Azure File storage. However, our client has a shared disk in the company network, where a File Handler is scanning a set folder. When a XML is in this folder, it is uploaded to the Financial Interface, Currently, the end user has to download these XML files manually, and place them in the shared drive.We want to automate this process, so that the end-user has no longer to this. These files cannot be zipped, but must be 40 separate files written to this shared drive. What would be the best way to achieve this?  Any advice in the right direction is very welcome. Regards, Blommetje

Validation: Model folder specification has been phased out (but is no longer present in the project)

After the upgrade to 2023.2. The message “Model folder specification has been phased out and is no longer available” appears at the ‘validate definition’ step, with a reference to ‘c: temp’ . however that file path is no longer in use anywhere in the model.

Fill look-up with filtered results from table unrelated to t1

Hi everyone,We're working an a screen showing a venue that belongs to a topic. There are more venues for the main topic. So, there are speakers for the topic, and the speaker is selected with a venue for that topic. So, the speaker is linked at the topic. The speaker has more topics he can speak about. However, we want to be able to add more topics to this venue. Each speaker confirms the topic at a later date if he or she is speaking about a topic at that venue.We can't seem to get a list of topics (linked to the speaker) for the venue, so that we can select 1 or more topics to add to that venue. How would we best get this done?So, we have topics, and topics have available speakers. Each speaker has one or more topics. We select a venue, and go into that venue. We then want to have a list of topics that are linked to the speaker of the venue. The venue is now our t1. Can we make a view of possible topics (linked to the speaker) in a variant of venue that contains all topics for the sp

Setting up "forgot password" error in logs

I tried to set up the “forgot password” function in IAM. So I filled in Global settings the email service and the IAM user has the function “change password” on. But I get some strange errors in the logs of Indicium after I use the forgot password function.

Process flow doesnt fill in the variable

We currently have a task where if you click on it. It redirects you to an other table and it activates its document. This part work on our Dev envoirement and we have synchronized it with our Acc envoirement as well. But testing it on our Acc envoirement. The variable does not get filled in our process flow monitor in Acc envoirement. While on the Dev envoirement it does. How can I solve this issue?

multiple selected records calling a single table task

I have a task in which I want to combine multiple (with a maximum) selected records onto a single task dialog.For example a grid with packages and a task that combines one or more packages into a single collo.The user selects one or more packages (for example maximum = 5) and the task has 5 package_id fields. When the task is executed the package_id of the first selected record is placed in the tasks package_id_1 field and the second in package_id_2 etc…..As far as I know we cannot do that directly as the task will b get started multiple times instead of just once.But maybe using a processflow?I can't imagine that nobody ever thought about this 🙄So hopefully someone can give me some good suggestions.

Generate report and save it like a record in a table

Hello,I would like to generate a report based on a table record. After the generation, I would like to insert it as a record into another table (the storage is in azure blob storage).My attempt was with "generate report" process flow action, after which I tried inserting the value into the table with a task, however that did not work.Would you please provide me with some tips on how to approach this subject? Display Icons in Treeview

Hallo everyone,we have a tree-view in Universal GUI (2023.2.10) that contains a Icon column. The Icon cames out of a domain with a set of elements that represanted some kind of anser types.We also define the image-column in the SoftwareFactory: But in the GUI we dont see any icon. But I think there is a little space that represanted the space for an icon. When we change the screentype to a grid, the icon will shown as expected. Do we miss something or do we somthing wrong? Or do icons not (yet) work in the tree view under UniversalGUI? Thanks an kind regardsChristian

Extended Task Layout Universal

Hi all, When transitioning from the Windows GUI to the Universal GUI, we are experiencing some problems  with the layout of the form that pops up when activating a task with editable task parameters. In Windows, we created this layout:Task Layout Windows GUIThe last column shows editable fields when the checkbox for that particular row is checked.The only problem we had with this layout is that the columns are a little too wide (which is caused by the top radio button). We created this layout with the help of the following options: “Next group”; “Group label”; “Field in next column”; “Field no. of positions further”; “Field width”.Now when switching to Universal, the layout looks like this:Task Layout Windows GUIAside from the field width issues, the columns are placed vertically. The closest I can get to the Windows layout is as following:Layout Universal GUIIt is impossible to achieve a layout with more than 2 columns at the moment (which also weirdly puts the last radio button optio

Multiple process flows for a single table task

I have a processflow that does some logging and calling an api when certain tasks are executed.This works fine except for one task.This task also calls another processflow and therefor never calls my api processflow…My first idea was “can I call a processflow from another processflow?”, well it seems I can do that with a subflow…But a subflow cannot call a task (I use a task to collect data before logging and calling the api).I can add the logic also to the processflow that is being executed but I rather keep everything in a single location ;)Any suggestions?

StartupProcedure not working anymore?

It looks like that the StartupProcedure no longer works?Has something changed?Last test shows that it only works for the Windows GUI and users with Windows Authentication.I thought it should work for all GUI's and any type of user authentication, correct? Windows GUI + Windows Authentication Windows GUI + SQL Authentication

date column is empty in export

I have a view with different columns, including a date column (date of birth). In the view, this column has a value, but when I do an export, this column is empty.Domain is date, like in the table. If I do an export of the source table with the date of birth, the data is available in that export.Why is a date not exported from a view?

Process flows sometimes stop working for specific users

Sometimes some of our users have the problem process flows running from Universal don't work anymore. Logged in on their system (a scanner running Android) using a different username it works, running the process flow on a different system using their account name doesn't start the process flow. In the Indicium log no messages turn up.How can such a situation occur, is there a way we can find out what's the problem and how can we fix this? Sometimes resyncing the application to IAM works, last time this happened we needed to dis- and enable the application to get the process flows running for these users. Of cause, this is not the right solution.

How to use the Merge PDF process action

We are trying to make the Merge PDF process action work using Azure file storage. To directly save the combined file in azure (or download file). Import/export xls un Universal gui

Hi,I have an uat environment for a client with a lot of basic data in it. Now we want to export some of this data to the clients uat environment. When I export this table ‘Function’ to an .xls I get 50 something rows. 9 columns. All as expected. The table is pk  lookup to company_table  (ID)  text text status (ACT) (varchar) Checkbox mandatory 1 or 0  price (numeric) Lookup to Tariff group (ID) Internal or External  (varchar) Checkbox mandatory 1 or 0 When I export the excel and import it, all rows fail. After some toying I found that removing the first row from the xls with the column names resolves a bit. The rows are imported, but only the columns are set. However, the company lookup is not set. The company name exists, so it should lookup I assume. Also, setting the ID from the company_table as a value does not work. But also the checkboxes are not processed correct. The .xls says ‘True’ , but the import sets 0. When I change the value in a 1, it also does not work. Same for the ot

Just a question, out of perhaps laziness :)Personally I always tend to forget to make a backup before a deployment..  anyone by chance already made a solution for this in the SF and cares to share it?  ..
