Seeing in the documentation that the “Close Document” process action is considered a starting point in the Universal GUI:

I am trying to get this to trigger the flow, but it never seems to happen? There is no registration in the Process flow monitor appearing.

The process flow is a test, so I have the “Close Document” and an item to attempt a refresh of a table, though this last one is not relevant to the question.

Could someone explain how to get this to function or what the conditions are?

Hi @Mark_Plaggenborg,

I’ve looked into it for you, and it turns out that Close document is incorrectly listed as a valid starting point. I’ve asked our Documentation team to update this information in our Docs. Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.

A good alternative might be what you already mentioned in another topic — using a task (with or without logic) as the starting point, and then initiating the Close document from there.

@Jeroen van den Belt Thanks for the response. A Task would be a workaround, but I’ll probably make an idea for the “Close document” as starting point as well.

The “Problem” is namely that we want certain events to trigger after one is done working in a popup (Modal) form and the “Close’ button is drawing so much attention, that the user misses the intent of the Task button.
