I have a table assigned a screen type. I want to use the same table with different screen type
Or maybe create a Variant and assign the other screen type.
I also don't want to use the related table in detailed tab just the main table

Hey Ashwini,

You should create a variant of the table and assign an other screen type to it. It's possible to do that in the Screen Type screen in the Software Factory but also at Subject > Settings (general tab). There is a group called Screen type where you can alter the screen type.

For your second question, I'm not quite sure what you mean. Is it opening the variant as detail of a table instead of the original table? Then you could go to Subjects, find your table with the detail that needs to be altered in a way, then go to the Links tab, find the right detail and alter the Detail tab variant column value of that Detail. Here you can select the variant. In your application, the detail will now lead to the variant you made.

Hope this answers your questions 😄
