The grid property 'Fields Locked' seems to be ignored in case column groups exist in a grid.

Is this a bug or desired behavior?

Hi Harm,

For both the Windows and Web GUI our 3th party components do not support this combination of features together. Technically, the columns are spread over two areas, fixed and non fixed, making it very hard to group them also.

Maybe you could group grid rows based on the columns you prefer to show fixed in the grid? This creates kind of the same effect. Of course your data in these columns should be suited for that and not a unique combination of values per data row.

Kind regards, Erik

Erik,

Ok clear, but it is a pity, because both features are valueable and users like using both.

I will try if your suggestion can work for us.

In the meantime I would mention this behaviour in the documentation.

Best regards,

Harm
