DevExpress Designer provided by ThinkWise is missing features

DevExpress Designer provided by ThinkWise is missing features.

An example is that it is missing Formatting Rules functionality that the DevExpress has.

Why is that? Does ThinkWise have to enable the extra functionality on the Designer tool that is related to Software Factory?

I currently have version 18.2 of the DevExpress Designer tool from ThinkWise.

This is the missing functionality (go to video 01:38 and onwards):

I am not sure but, it might be related to these links:

Hi,

Some features the components can handle are not implemented as is requires work at not only the GUI side, but also the SF-side (and possibly even IAM). There is a lot of work going into making the components function great in our GUI's and we utilize most of what the components offer. Some features like this may not have made the cut or even are new by the time we already implemented an older version of the component, for instance with the Scheduler tooling. Over time DevExpress redesigns/expands the component and that does require some maintenance on our part.

For (new) features you can always create an Idea :thumbsup_tone1:

Does that answer your question?

In TCP we have all the available DevExpress Designers, latest version is 1.40. That version makes use of v18.2 of the DevExpress components as far as I can see.
